Dow Plans To Build A Specialty Chemicals Manufacturing Base In Zhanjiang For US$250 Million

It is reported that Zhanjiang Economic and Technological Development Zone and Dow Chemical (China) Investment Co., Ltd. recently held a memorandum of understanding signing activity, and another Fortune 500 company will settle in Donghai Island. Dow Chemical intends to solely fund the construction of a special polyurethane and a special surfactant device in the Zhanjiang Economic Development Zone, with an estimated investment of USD 250 million. The construction of Dow's specialty chemicals manufacturing base will help extend and supplement the city's petrochemical industry chain, accelerate the formation of a 100-billion-level petrochemical industrial cluster, and help the Donghai Island Petrochemical Industrial Park to become a world-class petrochemical industrial base.
